Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad
– Airport pickup and transfer to hotel

Day 2: Fly to Gilgit (or drive if flight unavailable)
– Scenic flight along the Himalayan range (weather permitting)
– Short drive to Gilgit town, rest and explore local bazaar
– Overnight in Gilgit boutique hotel

Day 3: Drive to Hunza via Karakoram Highway
– Stop at Rakaposhi View Point and the junction of three great mountain ranges (Karakoram, Himalayas, Hindu Kush)
– Arrival in Karimabad (Hunza Valley)
– Welcome tea with a local Hunzakut family
– Overnight in eco-lodge with mountain views

Day 4: Explore Baltit & Altit Forts
– Guided tour of both forts with historical insights
– Walk through the ancient settlement of Altit, visit the women-led Khabasi Café
– Leisurely stroll through fruit orchards and water channels
– Overnight in Karimabad

Day 5: Hike to Duikar – Eagle’s Nest Panorama
– Short morning hike to Duikar village (optional drive available)
